France to set 6 Nations alight

LONDON – Judging by their performances in the 2014 6 Nations as well as the Autumn Internationals, the French rugby team will likely experience another rollercoaster ride at this year’s 6 Nations starting in a fortnight.

The French kicked off last year’s 6 Nations with a solid win over England however fell short at the final hurdle against Ireland in Paris to win the title in nerve-racking fashion.

In addition to the first and last matches, they were involved in a cracker of a game against Scotland at BT Murrayfield in which they stole with a last minute penalty.

It may be a different story this year with a number of changes in personnel as well as more being on the line with the Rugby World Cup kicking off in about nine months. Throw in rumours about rifts in the French team and you’re bound to get some reaction from the squad.

When Les Bleus play, you’re always guaranteed excitement and with the added firepower of debutant Noa Nakaitaci, they might just find they have a bit more to throw at teams this year.

With the team going into camp on 25 January, Saint-Andre is set to get one more good look at them before naming the team to play Scotland on 7 February
