While the weekend wasn’t filled with as many quality match-ups as the first weekend of the tournament was, we still found out a whole lot about a few teams and what stage of development they were in on their World Cup journey. With the hosts handed their first defeat of the tournament, tongues got wagging and eye brows were raised as England’s loss set up one of the biggest pool matches in World Cup history next weekend at Twickenham.
