Harlequins Centre charged with GBH

LONDON – Harlequins and former England Centre Jordan Turner-Hall has been charged with GBH after an altercation when partying in Brighton on October 30th last year.

The altercation left two men with facial injuries and the injuries of Turner-Hall are unknown, he was also involved with a counterpart.

Turner-Hall has been charged with causing actual bodily harm and inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent during the incident.

Furthermore, Fairhall, the man accompanying Turner-Hall has been charged with causing actual bodily harm, inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, perverting the course of justice and failing to surrender to bail.

The two men have been released on bail and are due to appear before a court on the 23rd July.

Quins have so far refused to comment, stating: “The club is aware of an investigation into an incident involving a player late last year…. As this is an ongoing investigation, the club will make no further comment at this time”.

While Turner-Hall was not selected in Lancaster’s Rugby World Cup training squad, it continues a poor run of off-field discipline for English players and is another blow for the image of England Rugby.dManu Tuilagi was recently in the spotlight for assaulting two police officers and Danny Cipriani is currently under investigation on suspicion of driving under the influence.
