LONDON – Racing Metro 92 has signed Toulon and Italian prop Martin Castrogiovanni and Waikato-based Chief’s prop Ben Tameifuna continuing their pursuit of big names and big silverware.

The propping duo have joined Racing Metro’s other huge signings of current All Black Dan Carter, Chris Masoe, Yannick Nyanga and Remi Tales. And by now signing the world-class props, have signalled their intention of improving their scrum.

Racing Metro’s owner Jacky Lorenzetti has endeavoured to make Racing Metro the best club in France however silverware continues to elude the Paris-based club.

Fresh from Racing Metro’s loss to their fierce Parisian rivals Stade Francais in the Top 14 playoffs, Lorenzetti will be expecting a marked improvement in their results next season after throwing a lot of money at many world class players not excluding Dan Carter, who signed a contract worth a record-breaking £1.3 million with Racing Metro at the end of 2014.
