We advise supporters to use public transportation because of the location of the stadium, but we do understand that some people may still want to drive.

By Car – If you choose to drive, there are several car parks only a few minutes away from the stadium. Otherwise there are some next to the stadium, but make sure you have the address in order to get there on time to get a spot.

By Train/Tube –

If you are travelling from the coast/Wallsend (on the yellow line), take the Metro to St. James’ Metro station. If you are travelling from South Tyneside/Gosforth, get off at Haymarket, cross over to the far side of the road, then walk up the passageway next to the Goose public house, and turn left.

Newcastle Central station is located around 15 minute walk from St. James’ Park, and is well signposted. Alternatively, take the Metro from Central Station to Haymarket. Cross the road, and turn left.

If you take a bus to the stadium, Newcastle has two major bus stations, Haymarket (for services from Northumberland and the North) and Eldon Square (services from County Durham and the south). These are located adjacent to each other on Percy Street, next to Haymarket Metro station.

Newcastle Aiport

It is very easy with local Metro service linking the airport and stadium via one change at Monument Metro station or you can walk the short distance from Monument Metro station. There are also taxi and hotel shuttle services available.
